Prop Costumes

I enjoy making prop costumes, using innovative materials and challenging myself to meet the demands of each project. Methods I have used include: sculpting, casting and moulding using platinum cure silicone, thermoplastics such as plastazote and rhenoflex, foam with supports as well as more traditional materials such as leather and fabrics.

While working at Rainbow Productions I gained experience making larger frames for mascot and animal costumes, using fake furs, foam and wadded bodies for shaping. Please contact me for photos of the work I completed there, which cannot be displayed publicly for licensing reasons.

The mermaid tail and matching bra was made as a commission for Frankie Dubery, including a monofin for underwater propulsion, and a variety of hand painted and airbrushed decoration.  More photos can be found on her website

Please contact me if you are interested in commissioning a prop costume or mermaid tail or top, I can custom sculpt to your specifications.
